I found myself having a stint of cold feet in an engagement right outside of Franklin, Tennessee when the ring got thrown out the window on a January night. Had I bought a real diamond, maybe we would’ve gotten worse but never came to this.

Looking back on that night as well as all the other terrible things that happened between me and her, I can only hope that today we both are able to rest our minds, wishing each other peace & happiness. That kind of happiness that is here in the present and not that which is only a promise for tomorrow because tomorrow is never guaranteed.
